Associate<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Daniel Ki joined Severud Associates as an engineer in 2015 and in 2019, progressed to senior engineer. In 2021, he advanced to associate. His more than a decade of design experience has yielded a thorough grasp of structural analysis, including specialized areas such as long-span roofs, blast loading, and parametric modeling, analysis, and optimization. Dan\u2019s major projects include 100 Vandam Street<\/a> in Manhattan, a residential tower built over and within an existing building, Halletts Point Building<\/a> 10, a residential building in Queens, and 43 Gatehouse Road, a commercial building in Stamford, Connecticut. His work on the Terminal 6 redevelopment at JFK International Airport in Queens<\/a>, and at 200 East 34th Street and the District Council 37 Headquarters<\/a>, both also in New York City, is equally challenging.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dan is co-chair of the Programs Committee of the Structural Engineers Association of New York<\/a> and was co-editor of Cross Sections,<\/em> the quarterly newsletter of SEAoNY, from 2019 to 2021.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dan is licensed as a structural engineer in Nevada and as a professional engineer in New York.
